Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality nursing care to residents
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered and in accordance with facility policies
- Monitor residents' conditions and promptly report changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation
- Follow individualized care plans and physician orders
- Assist with wound care, treatments, and other nursing procedures as assigned
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and members of the interdisciplinary care team
- Provide guidance and support to CNAs and other members of the care team
- Promote residents' dignity, comfort, safety, and independence
- Follow all applicable state, federal, and facility regulations and standards
- Participate in care planning and contribute to positive resident outcomes
Qualifications
- Current, active California LVN/LPN license required
- Previous skilled nursing or post-acute care experience preferred
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality resident care
- Current CPR certification preferred
