How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Winter Tube Hill Attendant, you will ensure guests have a safe, fun, and high-quality tubing experience. You will manage the tubing conveyor, maintain equipment, assist guests, and support the operations team to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient runs.

A Day in the Life

You’ll begin your day by performing safety checks on tubes and conveyor equipment. Throughout your shift, you’ll monitor guest traffic, assist riders with the lift or tow, maintain tubing lanes, and help prepare the Tube Hill for operation. By the end of your shift, you’ll know you helped provide a memorable and safe experience for all guests.

Guest Experience

· Maintain a positive and professional attitude toward guests and staff.

· Advise and assist guests using the lift or tow.

· Maintain orderly guest traffic within the area, including queue lines and tubing lanes.

· Promote safety by following safe practices and reporting unsafe conditions.

Operational Support

· Assume responsible charge of the tubing conveyor.

· Conduct daily safety checks on tubes and conveyor equipment.

· Maintain condition of rental tubes, tubing lanes, ramps, and mazes.

· Maintain all operational log books as required.

· Prepare Tube Hill for operation, including shoveling, snow-blowing, setting up fences, and cleaning tubing facilities.

· Organize and clean Tube Hill areas.

· Communicate by radio when necessary.

· Assist in mountain rescue efforts, if required.

· Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

 What You Bring

· Passion for Bogus Basin’s mission.

· Ability to pass a background check.

· Be at least 16 years of age.

· Frequently required to stand, balance, walk, and reach with hands and arms.

· Frequently required to use hand tools including shovels and rakes.

· Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.

· Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and may be required to lift up to 35 pounds above shoulder level.

· Ability to maintain a safe, fun, and high-quality environment for positive guest interactions.

· Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Working Conditions

· Majority of time spent in an outdoor environment.

· May be exposed to inclement weather.

· Vibration and noise are present in the work environment.
