Senior Manager, Compliance Policies, Training & Licensing

Are you a seasoned compliance professional who thrives on building robust frameworks, influencing senior stakeholders and driving regulatory excellence?

This is a unique opportunity to join ING in a highly visible enterprise-wide role, where you'll take ownership of Compliance policy governance, training and awareness frameworks, continuing professional development (CPD) oversight, and licensing governance across the Bank's AFSL and ACL obligations. The role is a senior individual contributor position with regular exposure to senior leaders, governance committees and regulators.

Reporting to the Head of Conduct Compliance and Ethics, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the Bank maintains effective governance, clear accountability and strong compliance outcomes across policies, training, licensing and organisational competence frameworks.

What you'll do

• Manage licensing governance across AFSL and ACL obligations, including Responsible Manager appointments, organisational competence reviews and regulatory submissions.
• Own and maintain the governance framework for Compliance-owned policies, procedures and guidance.
• Lead policy lifecycle management, including reviews, approvals, implementation and regulatory mapping.
• Oversee Compliance training, awareness and CPD frameworks, ensuring regulatory obligations are effectively managed and evidenced.
• Prepare high-quality papers, reporting and recommendations for senior management, governance committees and regulators.
• Provide expert advice on policy governance, licensing, training and competency obligations.
• Drive continuous improvement across compliance frameworks, controls, reporting and governance practices.

What we're looking for

·       8+ years' experience in Compliance, Governance, Legal, Licensing, Learning Governance or Non-Financial Risk within financial services.

·       Strong knowledge of AFSL and ACL obligations, Responsible Manager requirements and organisational competence frameworks.

·       Demonstrated experience managing policy governance frameworks, regulatory change and control standards.

·       Experience overseeing compliance training, awareness or professional development programs.

·       Excellent executive-level writing, stakeholder engagement and governance reporting capabilities.

·       A pragmatic, risk-based mindset with strong attention to detail and sound judgement.

·       The ability to lead complex initiatives and deliver outcomes through influence and collaboration.
