We are looking for an experienced OpenText ECM Consultant to implement, configure, support, and enhance OpenText Enterprise Content Management solutions. The consultant will work closely with business and technical teams to understand document-management requirements and deliver secure, scalable, and efficient solutions.

Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced OpenText ECM Consultant to implement, configure, support, and enhance OpenText Enterprise Content Management solutions. The consultant will work closely with business and technical teams to understand document-management requirements and deliver secure, scalable, and efficient solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement, configure, and support OpenText Content Server and related ECM components.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions.
- Configure document management, metadata, categories, classifications, permissions, workflows, and records-management processes.
- Design and develop workflows, WebReports, LiveReports, forms, and custom modules.
- Integrate OpenText ECM with SAP, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Active Directory, and other enterprise applications.
- Support OpenText xECM solutions and business workspaces.
- Manage user roles, access controls, security permissions, and governance requirements.
- Perform system upgrades, migrations, patches, testing, and production deployments.
- Troubleshoot application, integration, workflow, and performance issues.
- Prepare functional specifications, technical documents, configuration guides, and user manuals.
- Coordinate with infrastructure, security, database, SAP, and business teams.
- Provide production support, incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and user training.
- Ensure solutions comply with document-retention, audit, security, and regulatory requirements.
- At least 5 years of experience with OpenText ECM solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience with OpenText Content Server.
- Experience with OpenText xECM, Archive Server, Records Management, and Extended ECM.
- Good knowledge of document management, workflow management, metadata, permissions, and records retention.
- Experience with WebReports, LiveReports, SQL, REST APIs, and web services.
- Experience integrating OpenText with SAP or other enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of OpenText installation, configuration, administration, upgrades, and migration.
- Understanding of relational databases such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Experience with OpenText Directory Services, Brava, AppWorks, Documentum, or Capture Center.
- Knowledge of cloud-based or hybrid OpenText environments.
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, OScript, or .NET.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and Agile delivery methodologies.
- OpenText certification would be an advantage.
- Relevant OpenText ECM implementation or support experience.
- OpenText certification is preferred but not mandatory.
