Full-Time Automotive Mechanic Intermediate
Competitive pay for experienced mechanics - up to $36 per hour (based on experience)
$10K Sign-on Bonus for Full-Time Mechanics!
We’re hiring a Mechanic Intermediate responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet across multiple locations within the AMR company. This is a key role to ensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.
Responsibilities:
- Mechanic Intermediate performs mechanical and electrical repairs per policies and procedures.
- Responds to vehicle breakdowns in the field when requested.
- Utilizes parts computer program to locate needed parts and verify correct application.
- Mechanic Intermediate uses maintenance database to document all completed tasks / job assignments.
- Clearly document service paperwork as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company’s information security standards.
- Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
• Must have a high school diploma, or equivalent education.
• Must have a current valid driver’s license.
• 2 years verifiable Line Mechanic or Mechanic Helper / Associate experience.• 2 ASE Certifications (Truck or Automotive series). Preferably Brake and Steering / Suspension.• MACS AC Certification or equivalent ASE Certification.
