Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Epic Clinical Information System Analyst II, for our Epic Program Department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

As an Epic Clinical Information System Analyst II, you will:
• Independently analyzes intermediate-to-advanced operational and clinical requirements; designs workflows and configures, builds, tests, validates, and maintains Epic application functionality using established standards and best practices.
• Owns complex application incidents and requests; performs root-cause analysis, coordinates cross-application troubleshooting, implements sustainable resolutions, and ensures timely communication with affected users and leaders.
• Plans and leads small-to-medium application projects, enhancements, upgrades, and process-improvement initiatives; manages requirements, scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, testing, and implementation activities.
• Serves as a liaison among end users, operational leaders, Epic representatives, and technical and application teams; facilitates workflow decisions and ensures solutions meet business needs, deliverables, and timelines.
• Assesses the impact of application changes across integrated workflows; develops and executes unit, integrated, regression, and user-acceptance testing and validates production outcomes.
• Maintains application, workflow, testing, change-control, issue, and support documentation; develops knowledge articles, training materials, and procedures and supports end-user education.
• Provides guidance and quality review for less-experienced analysts and users; shares application knowledge and promotes consistent build, testing, and documentation practices.
• Participates in go-lives, upgrades, downtimes, and on-call or extended-hour support; communicates project and issue status, risks, dependencies, and escalation needs to leadership.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications include:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in healthcare, information systems, business, or a related field. Relevant experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.
• 5-6 years of direct clinical, healthcare operations, clinical information systems, application support, or related experience, including experience with system implementation, optimization, or production support. Epic experience is preferred.
• No formal supervisory experience required. Experience leading workstreams or mentoring colleagues is preferred.
• Epic certification in the assigned application(s) is required or must be obtained within the timeframe established by AHC and maintained thereafter. Current clinical licensure is preferred when relevant to the assigned application.
• Must be able to complete required Epic training, projects, and examinations and participate in travel, on-call coverage, and extended-hour support as business needs require.
• Experience in Ambulatory care, Patient Portal, Population Health, Home care or Research preferred

Work Schedule:

Employment Type: Full-time

Hours per Week: 40 hours/week

Typical Daily Schedule: 8 am- 5 pm Monday through Friday 

Shift Type: Day Shift

Holiday Requirements: Follow company holiday calendar 

Pay Range:

$83,112.12 - $124,675.20

If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.

Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), this position is classified as:

Those testing positive are given the opportunity to re-apply in 90 days, if they can truthfully attest that they have not used any nicotine products in the past ninety (90) days and successfully pass follow-up testing.
