Schedule: Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week | Day Shift | 8-hour shifts

Our Endocrinology & Infectious Disease team provides compassionate, specialized care to patients managing a variety of complex and chronic health conditions. We are seeking a Registered Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant to join our patient-focused team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships with patients, values collaboration, and is interested in supporting specialized areas of healthcare. You’ll work closely with providers and other members of the care team while helping create a welcoming, organized, and supportive experience for every patient.

Professional Growth Expand your clinical knowledge and experience while working with patients with a wide range of endocrine and infectious disease conditions and continuing to build your skills as an RMA, CMA, or LPN.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Greet, room, and prepare patients for appointments, including obtaining medical histories and vital signs.
  • Assist providers with examinations, treatments, and other clinical needs while maintaining patient comfort and privacy.
  • Collect laboratory specimens, perform competency-validated clinical tasks, and accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record.
  • Coordinate patient care activities, including referrals, diagnostic testing, prior authorizations, scheduling, and follow-up appointments.
  • Support communication with patients regarding appointments, testing, medications, and care coordination.
  • Support daily clinic operations by maintaining exam rooms, equipment, and supplies while assisting with patient calls and portal communications.

Qualifications

  • Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through an accredited certifying organization.

OR

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through an accredited certifying organization.

OR

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a current Montana LPN license.

  • RQI Provider (BLS) within seven (7) days of hire/transfer or before providing independent patient care, whichever comes first.

Preferred Experience

  • One (1) year of experience in a medical practice setting preferred.

  • Medical office experience and medical terminology training preferred.

  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, basic laboratory values, pharmacology, infection control practices, and HIPAA requirements preferred.

  • Previous experience in a specialty clinic or working with patients and families navigating complex care needs is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

  • Commitment to professionalism, patient confidentiality, and exceptional patient care.

  • Ability to act with integrity, kindness, and empathy.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn additional software systems as needed.

Shift:

Day Shift - 8 Hours (United States of America)

Schedule:

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week.  Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
