Responsibilities
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Packaging Operator at our Gascoyne, ND location. The Packaging Operator requires the individual to be safety minded and strive to be an example in areas of safety, 5S and quality. Operators’ package multiple SKU’s from the plant in a safe and efficient manner. Operators are also responsible for loading the correct product from the silos and performing quality checks along the way before final packaging.
Responsibilities:
- Operate Package Equipment
- Drive Forklifts
- Place empty ware on the lines
- Throw bags, and pails
- Open to advancement
*This is considered a safety sensitive position therefore will be subject to random drug testing as required.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Able to meet deadlines
- Operation of forklift truck
- Self-Motivated
- Bend, Twist, Pull and lift objects up to 50lbs
- Work Safely
- Work as a team
- Communication Skills
- Dependable
- Be able to multi-task
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Travel: Very Little to None
Working Conditions: Shift work in an Industrial Environment
Work Hours: 8-12 hour work days, 5 days a week depending on demand
