TFS currently has an exciting permanent opportunity as the Remarketing Manager reporting to the National Manaer of Business Operations. The Remarketing Manager is responsible for leading all the Remarketing functions, overseeing lease-end administration, over term collections, vehicle disposition, vendor management, and team performance. The Remarketing Manager will ensure effective lease maturity processing, maximize vehicle sale proceeds, maintain operational controls, and deliver exceptional customer and dealer outcomes through continuous process improvement, performance management, and strategic execution.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead and support departmental and enterprise projects, including process transformation, digitalization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring successful delivery of business objectives and measurable operational benefits.
- Act as the business owner for lease-end and remarketing processes within enterprise transformation programs, ensuring future-state systems, workflows, reporting, controls, and customer experiences align with organizational objectives.
- Support business plan targets and objectives through performance monitoring, process standardization, policy and procedure maintenance, and compliance with documentation requirements.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators including lease retention, inventory aging, recovery rates, customer and dealer experience, operational efficiency, and portfolio performance.
- Oversee collection activities for lease-end excess wear and use, excess kilometre charges, and outstanding balances to achieve departmental performance targets.
- Review and approve charge-offs, write-offs, and settlement arrangements, working with external collection agencies to maximize recovery results.
- Ensure appropriate operational, financial, and compliance controls are maintained across all collection, settlement, and recovery activities.
- Lead lease-end administration activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing of Dealer Condition Reports, lease extensions, account settlements, refunds, and related transactions.
- Resolve complex dealer and customer issues, including vehicle inspections, lease-end discrepancies, payout exceptions, and account adjustments.
- Oversee insurance claim and recovery processes, ensuring timely submission, follow-up, and receipt of funds.
- Manage operational workflows, departmental reporting, invoice approvals, transportation activities, and service level adherence to ensure efficient execution of lease-end and remarketing operations.
- Monitor customer service performance, call quality, and departmental service standards to support a positive customer and dealer experience.
- Identify trends and implement corrective actions to continuously improve customer satisfaction, dealer experience, and service quality.
- Oversee upstream and auction vehicle sales activities, ensuring accurate vehicle listings, pricing, image quality, arbitration management, and sales performance across Toyota Financial Services (TFS), Lexus Financial Services (LFS), Subaru Financial Services (SFS), and Mazda Financial Services (MFS).
- Utilize market intelligence, portfolio analytics, and vehicle disposition performance data to optimize pricing strategies, sales channel effectiveness, net sale proceeds, and recovery performance.
- Manage vehicle inventory and disposition activities to optimize days-in-inventory, accelerate sale readiness, and achieve recovery and inventory targets.
- Drive performance against inventory aging, vehicle routing, sale readiness, and disposition objectives to maximize overall portfolio value.
- Establish and manage third-party vendor performance through formal service level agreements, governance practices, performance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives, including inspection providers, auctions, transportation partners, collection agencies, and other external service providers.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process enhancements, implementing automation opportunities, supporting Toyota Way activities, and contributing to Kaizen projects and operational transformation initiatives.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and cross-functional support to ensure achievement of departmental, customer experience, and business objectives.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team through performance management, succession planning, employee engagement, talent development, and continuous learning initiatives. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Bring:
- Degree or Diploma in Business or related discipline
- Bilingual (English/French) preferred
- 5+ years of management/leadership experience in a financial services environment
- Experience using data analytics to drive business improvements and effective workforce management
- Ability to clearly define objectives and priorities, establish milestones, anticipate and mitigate risks
- Ability to motivate, lead, coach and develop employees.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal); proficient at facilitating presentations, executive briefings.
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to successfully build relationships with senior leaders, and business partners.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Applications

The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $100,042 - $125,053. The offered salary will be based on the candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills and qualifications.
