Multi-Specialty Group Fitness Instructor (part-time)

About the role

HealthFitness is looking for a Group Class Instructor to join the fitness team at our client site located in Richmond, VA.  This is a position teaching 2 classes per week. You will have the flexibility to instruct classes between Monday through Thursday, with classes scheduled between 12:00–2:00 PM or 5:00–7:00 PM.

Responsible for providing fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit. 

Minimum Requirements

• Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.
• Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.
• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.

The compensation range for this role is $25/hr - $30/hr. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.  We understand that compensation is an important factor when considering a new opportunity, and we strive to provide a competitive wage within the market.
