Description
Position Summary :
A Solution Sales professional is responsible for promoting and selling Thales’ Software and Services portfolio to Mobile Network Operators, OEMs, and Service Providers. This includes identifying customer needs, designing tailored solutions, and developing strong technical and commercial proposals.
The role is accountable for achieving sales targets across both revenue and profitability objectives, building and energizing ecosystems with customers, partners, and OEMs, orchestrating internal resources, setting priorities, and representing the company effectively in front of customers.
Key Requirements:
• 8 years of experience in similar role in telecommunications and/or information technology industries.
• English Advanced.

Sales, Negotiation, and Customer Engagement
• Strong negotiation and sales skills, with proven experience in the IT market.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Technical and Business Expertise
• Creative intelligence, including the ability to compile, interpret, and structure internal data from heterogeneous sources to support solution design and conceptualization.
• Knowledge of legal aspects related to Software and Services engagements.
• Broad technical understanding of software architecture, hardware dimensioning, software development processes, analytics, and fraud prevention.
IoT Market and Ecosystem Knowledge
• Solid understanding of the IoT market, including key verticals such as smart metering, smart POS, fixed wireless access, security cameras, fleet management, track and trace, connected mobility, and industrial IoT.
• Knowledge of the IoT connectivity and security value chain, including Mobile Network Operators, MVNOs, OEMs, IoT Service Providers, connectivity management platforms, eSIM/eUICC technologies, SGP.32, fleet management, and lifecycle orchestration.
• Established contacts or the ability to build relationships across the IoT ecosystem, including device manufacturers, module makers, payment service providers, utilities, integrators, connectivity providers, and industry partners.
• Capability to identify, qualify, and develop IoT opportunities with OEMs and service providers, coordinating internal technical, product, and commercial resources to support pilots, proof-of-concepts, and scalable deployments.
