Description
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Execute day-to-day fulfillment operations
Execute operational fulfillment activities across inventory, inbound, outbound, and returns processes in line with defined work instructions and service requirement
Process and coordinate daily warehouse-related tasks to ensure stock availability, order fulfillment readiness, and timely material movements
Ensure accurate and timely completion of relevant SAP transactions, confirmations, and updates related to goods movements and inventory handling
Maintain accurate inventory records through routine stock monitoring, reconciliation support, and timely correction of discrepancies
Support stock transfers, replenishment postings, inventory adjustments, and handling unit or bin corrections in line with defined controls
Run MRP and generate replenishment proposals
Execute POs, monitor and follow-up with principals (incl. timely payment to principals)
Coordinate and execute goods receipt activities for inbound deliveries, ensuring documents, quantities, and material information are complete and accurate
Process or support goods receipt postings in SAP and ensure inventory is updated correctly
Coordinate with warehouse or 3PL partners to confirm unloading, storage, labeling, binning, and issue resolution for inbound discrepancies
Support order fulfillment execution by coordinating picking, delivery preparation, goods issue processing, and shipment readiness with warehouse and transport teams
Update or verify outbound status changes, including post goods issue confirmation and delivery completion in relevant systems
Verification of invoices and approval of costs for logistics services
Ensure adherence to fulfilment-related Omya standards and legal compliance requirements
Stakeholder management and communication
Collaborate closely with Team Lead Fulfillment and peers within Logistics to ensure smooth operational execution
Coordinate daily with other service lines and functions on operational matters
Provide timely status updates on stock issues, inbound and outbound execution, return handling, and service risks
Escalate non-routine, high-risk, or cross-functional issues in a timely manner
Continuous improvement and digitalization
Identify recurring operational issues, inefficiencies, and process gaps from fulfillment work improvements
Support the deployment and continuous improvement of fulfillment-related systems and tools in alignment with logistics process experts
Ensure adoption of global fulfillment standards, best practices, and digital solutions within the regional organization
JOB REQUIREMENT
Education
University degree in Logistics / Supply Chain Management / Business Administration / Industrial Engineering or related field or equivalent working experience
Experience
Minium 1-2 years of relevant working experience in a related position
Experience in fulfillment, warehouse operations, logistics execution
Hands-on experience in warehouse operations, including receipts, picking, and returns handling
Experience in inventory accuracy management, cycle counting, scrap and obsolescence handling, and stock reconciliation
Experience coordinating with warehouse operators, 3PLs, or service providers
Knowledge and skills
Good knowledge of fulfillment and warehouse execution processes
Understanding of inventory management, goods receipt, picking, post goods issue, and returns handling
Working knowledge of SAP and related logistics or inventory tools
Evidence-based approach to problem-solving, with quantitative and qualitative analysis skills
Good know-how in SAP (MM), fulfilment-related systems and MS Office
Other requirements
Proficient command of both oral and written English and additional local language(s) is an asset
