Processor Warranty & Assembly

This position is responsible for assembling golf clubs, including the preparation of components and the breakdown process. They will also be responsible for reviewing product warranty returns, determining return reasons, and taking appropriate course of action based on our warranty/return process.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:

• Perform golf club assembly to a high degree of technical specifications with the highest degree of quality and accuracy
• Apply knowledge in such areas as: precision measuring equipment, test equipment, and hand tool usage to carry out responsibilities.
• Perform routine analysis to check accuracy, applicability, and reasonableness of specifications to finished product
• Inspect component parts for flaws, scratches, or other cosmetic defects to ensure quality workmanship of product
• Audits incoming product returns to determine if returns are related to product defect or customer abuse
• Audits outgoing product, after defect/abuse has been repaired
• Coordinates and audits outgoing product replacement
• Maintains reporting for engineering department regarding return issues
• Responsible for data entry and verification of daily work produced
• Maintains control files of matters in progress and follow up to ensure actions are complete
• Follow prescribed work methods or explicit instruction
• Maintain equipment and tools necessary for use in area of assignment
• Perform work in accordance with sound safety practices
• Performs other related duties and assignments as required

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

• Fluent verbal and written English communication skills required
• Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure full understanding of job, and create an environment of teamwork
• Understanding of procedures, processes, and controls
• Able and use and comprehend a warehouse RF (radio frequency) device
• Able to accurately record data, and use a computer with a basic understanding
• Able to maintain established records and files using spreadsheets, preferably in Excel
• Has strong attention to detail to ensure the integrity of documentation and orders prepared
• Able to carry out assigned tasks with little or no supervision

Education, Work Experience, and Professional Certifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred (in lieu of diploma: any combination of education, experience and training which would provide the level of skills, knowledge and abilities required)
• 3+ months of experience in repair or custom golf club assembly
• 3+ months of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse or closely related field, is preferred
• Experience in manufacturing environment using computers and related software

Work Environment / Physical Requirements:

• Manufacturing warehouse environment; exposure to fumes, solvent, dirt, dust and noise
• Physically able to lift 40lbs, bend, stoop, reach, climb, and manually wrap and package golf related products
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Time spent walking between warranty area and shipping
• Ability to work extended hours and/or various shifts and required.

The expected starting hourly rate for this position is $20 per hour.
