Repsol has an opening for a Maintenance Engineering Intern located in The Woodlands, Texas.
Internship Details:
- Position will be based out of our office in The Woodlands, TX. Interns are expected onsite Monday-Friday, with the exception of 9/80's. The 9/80 schedule is optional per the manager's discretion, based on intern project scope and timeline.
- Non-local candidates may be considered but must arrange their own travel and temporary accommodations. A summer stipend will be provided to help offset out of pocket expenses.
- Students must be available for the full duration of the internship from May 17th - Aug 6th. Any personal time off must be approved by the supervisor as unpaid leave and should be noted with the recruiter as early as possible.
- Interns will receive an hourly wage but are not eligible for benefits or paid time off. Interns will be compensated for observed company holidays.
Responsibilities
- Support with daily project activities and assigned tasks
- Assist with data compilation, organization, and basic analysis related to operations
- Help prepare reports, presentations, and supporting technical documentation
- Participate in team meetings, project discussions, and reviews
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams as needed
- Follow established safety standards, procedures, and company policies
- Complete an assigned internship project and present results at the conclusion of the program
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any company.
- Undergrad (or higher) Engineering degree in process, preferably within Chemical, Mechanical, Petroleum, or Civil Engineering.
- Detail-oriented, a strong analytical background
- Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite of Products
- Strong written and oral communication skills with a variety of technical and non technical staff
- Able to work independently and within in a team
- Professional conduct is fundamental to success in this position
- Proven organizational and time management skills
