As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier cultural institution, you will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide welcoming customer service to members, guests, and staff. You will communicate observations and support a positive environment while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, members, guests, and staff at a cultural institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of grounds, facilities, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and event-related questions, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership.
• Document incidents, patrol observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and authorized site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
