Automation Engineer – Food Manufacturing (Location: MD)
On-site | Full-time | $115K–$135K
A growing food manufacturer is adding to its automation team as it expands production. This is a hands-on, floor-based role — you'll troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, sensors, VFDs, and safety circuits alongside maintenance and production teams, drive root-cause fixes, and coach technicians to build a stronger, more self-sufficient maintenance org.
You bring: hands-on industrial PLC experience (Siemens a plus, not required), ability to read electrical schematics, comfort troubleshooting under production pressure, and strong communication across technical and non-technical teams. Field service techs ready to settle into one location welcome to apply. Experience in food manufacturing, bakery, packaging, or other high-speed manufacturing environments preferred. Occasional travel.
