Position: Casino Service Technician

Salary:  Competitive

Location: Various - This role is field based and will involve travel to different venues, we have multiple vacancies currently available.

A Full clean driving license is required for this position.

We have an opportunity for Casino service technicians to join our team to support the efficient running of the Merkur Casino estate.

Working closely with the Casino Service Manager to resolve issues in casinos and provide support where possible across other areas of the Merkur estate, offering invaluable knowledge to casino teams and assist in training casino teams to manage regular easy to repair on site issues., you will also be involved in gaming machine installations and removals.

About you:

We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, and a tenacious approach with focus and determination to get the job done effectively.

• Full and Clean Driver’s License
• Flexibility – There will be some overnight stay required
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Good time management.
• Ability to work under own initiative, with minimal supervision
• Ability to develop positive relationships and work effectively with key stakeholders.
• Ability and willingness to learn new skills when required.
• Good keyboard skills and intermediate level PC skills including Excel.
• Ability to learn new techniques and skills.

Preferred experience

• Experience within a relevant industry.
• Experience in basic networking protocols

As a Casino Service Technician, you will:

• Service and maintain all gaming and ancillary equipment in venue including but not limited to Slot Machines, Live Tables and Electronic Roulette.
• Complete all service calls and maintenance works within the time specified.
• Complete all technical updates within specified time frames.
• Maintain a high level of communication with the Casino Service Manager and/or Head of Service reporting any technical issues with equipment that cannot be repaired within a reasonable time frame.
• To effectively communicate with third party suppliers regarding the ordering of spare parts and any technical issue.
• Attend technical training courses from third party suppliers.
• Provide service cover outside of the normal working area when required.
• Follow and adhere the Merkur machine key policy.
• Ensure that procedures relating to security of cash are upheld when visiting venues.
• Ensure all Company equipment is maintained in a good condition and properly accounted for.
• Order and return all gaming machine replacement parts in the time specified by each manufacturer.
• Attend meetings as and when required.
• Ensure communication is accurate and in line with our policies on data protection.
• Promote the Company in a positive manner when dealing with Merkur customers.
