Job Description

Agilists at U.S. Bank are customer obsessed with a focus on serving product areas, ensuring all product vision, planning and development activities are rooted in Agile and Product Values & Principles. Agilist enables the organization to consistently experiment and evolve business strategy based on prior outcomes and feedback. They drive culture change through day to day to work with a focus on Agile & Product mindset, values and continuous improvement and keep their area focused on achieving strategic goals.

As an Agilist, you will:

  • Drive delivery by coaching and enabling product to consistently conduct discovery focused on the customer, experiment and evolve product strategy based on prior outcomes and feedback loops.

  • Operate across a broad area of responsibility, thoughtfully prioritizing time and effort to provide impactful support to product, technology and design leaders.

  • Own the adoption and continuous improvement of agile and product practice within your area of responsibility, including outcome-based goal setting, strategic planning, organizational effectiveness, change initiatives, customer-centric decision making, and the adoption of emerging technologies.

  • Drive AI adoption to accelerate innovation, improve efficiency and delivery of customer value.

  • Champion agile ways of working and product mindset by coaching product and technology leaders, scaling best practices, and building organizational capability through coaching, training, and enablement.

  • Establish and leverage metrics to improve customer outcomes, delivery effectiveness and continuous improvement.

  • Identify and close communication gaps that impact alignment, delivery, or adoption.

  • Translate complex initiatives into clear, digestible messaging for stakeholders and leaders.

  • Leverage data to analyze trends, performance indicators, and organizational patterns to guide strategic coaching and enablement efforts.

Basic Qualifications

  • Agile product development, agile coaching, agile portfolio management experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Ability to identify organizational opportunities, align stakeholders, and influence strategic solutions that improve customer experience, business outcomes, and organizational effectiveness.

  • Demonstrates the ability to understand product vision, target customers, and business priorities within their area of responsibility (e.g., creation of personas, customer journey maps, product chartering/mapping experience) and apply those insights to guide coaching, influence decisions, and improve customer and business outcomes.

  • Experience identifying and addressing communication breakdowns or misalignment

  • Strong facilitation skills with an emphasis on clarity and engagement

  • Familiarity with change management approaches, especially communication planning and reinforcement

  • Experience contributing to communication strategies within transformation efforts

  • Working technical knowledge of the software development process - design, development, test, and deployment

  • Experience working with leaders with strong communication, collaboration, time management, conflict resolution, and leadership skills

  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of Agile mindset, values, and principles and the ability to coach leaders on the characteristics of maturity, including ownership of outcomes, empowered decision making, effective collaboration, adaptability, and continuous improvement.

  • Demonstrate the ability to adjust communication and engagement strategies based on audience needs, organizational context, and desired outcomes.

  • Demonstrates a growth mindset through curiosity, self-awareness, and coachability, actively seeking opportunities to learn, improve, and evolve.

Location expectations 
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $105,400.00 - $124,000.00
