Description
The Sales Support Specialist is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in their field, adapting them to their job and business. Recognized as a subject matter expert with strong commercial awareness, this role is an acknowledged authority within and outside its area of expertise. It requires excellent communication skills for internal negotiation at a senior level, with some external communication typically needed. This role provides advanced judgment and conducts in-depth quantitative/qualitative analysis to solve problems and develop innovative solutions, often requiring thinking beyond existing solutions. This role has a significant impact on a function and/or business by making decisions that determine technical approaches and strategies for the area, and handles staff management issues, including resource management and work allocation within the team/project. Additionally, this Sales Support role provides on-desk support to the sales force, focusing on improved client experience and sales efficiency. It requires technical product knowledge, an understanding of end-to-end infrastructure, and exposure to clients, internal stakeholders, control groups, and senior leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Support Specialist provides sales support coverage across all PFSS products globally, specifically around the creation and maintenance of RFP, RFI and DDQ responses and pitchbooks
- This particular role directs the creation and timely delivery of responses to prospective client proposals, coordinating closely with sales and client executive leads
- Individual should coordinate all necessary aspects of RFP/RFI/DDQ responses, ensuring questions are addressed accurately and the response is submitted in a timely manner
- Responsible for coordinating with subject matter experts to ensure standard responses held within relevant systems and content library are kept current and accurate
- Individual ensures information in responses is consistent with business goals and strategic messaging, as well as aligned with the specific needs of the client or prospect
- Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure
- Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics
- Appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions; demonstrating proper consideration for the firm’s reputation
- Be familiar with and adhere to Citi’s Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Markets and Services

- Support onboarding through cross-functional coordination, proactively driving interactions with partners firm-wide
- Pre-trade support to ensure clients are “Ready to Trade” (e.g., KYC, legal, onboarding & pipeline management/prioritization, Regulatory, tax, credit capacity and facility setup oversight)
- Support requests for proposals (RFP's), requests for quotes (RFQ's), and requests for information (RFI's)
- Serve as point of contact for all escalation (e.g., margin disputes, data discrepancies, settlement)
- Optimize processes through root cause analysis (e.g., client onboarding and trade execution)
- Re-engineering / automation of high impact processes to improve sales / client experience
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience
- Sales support and/or marketing experience
- Advanced knowledge of the Investor Services and/or traditional asset manager business
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel
- Proven communications and project management skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

- Liderar la priorización, gestión y seguimiento del portafolio de proyectos estratégicos de CIB, asegurando el cumplimiento de objetivos, plazos y beneficios esperados.
- Generar análisis y recomendaciones ejecutivas para la alta dirección, facilitando la toma de decisiones basada en información financiera y de negocio.
- Monitorear indicadores clave de desempeño y asegurar la correcta ejecución de iniciativas estratégicas con impacto transversal en la organización.
## Perfil requerido
- Licenciatura en Finanzas, Administración, Economía, Contaduría Pública, Actuaría o carreras afines.
- Experiencia mínima de 7 a 8 años en el sector financiero, con trayectoria en Planeación Estratégica, Planeación Financiera, Consultoría Estratégica, Finanzas Corporativas o Desarrollo de Negocio.
- Experiencia comprobable en posiciones de liderazgo a nivel Subdirector o superior.
- Sólido entendimiento del negocio bancario, indicadores financieros, rentabilidad y modelos de planeación.
- Dominio de Excel a nivel intermedio/avanzado.
- Deseable experiencia en gestión de proyectos estratégicos y transformación organizacional.
