As robotics and AI companies race to build general-purpose robots, high-quality training data has become one of the biggest bottlenecks. We work with leading robotics companies, AI labs, and technology partners to provide data solutions that enable faster model development.
We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our founding commercial team and help drive customer acquisition and business growth.
The Role
This is a hunter-oriented BD role focused on identifying new opportunities, building relationships with robotics and AI companies, and converting market opportunities into long-term partnerships.
You will work closely with engineering and operations teams to understand customer challenges and translate their AI data needs into scalable solutions.
This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who enjoys building from zero, working in a fast-paced startup environment, and shaping the commercial foundation of an emerging AI company.
Responsibilities
Business Development & Customer Acquisition
Identify and develop new enterprise opportunities within robotics, AI, autonomous systems, and embodied intelligence markets.
Build relationships with robotics startups, AI research organizations, and technology companies.
Conduct outbound prospecting, networking, and market research to generate qualified opportunities.
Own the sales cycle from initial outreach, discovery, solution discussion, negotiation, and contract execution.
Solution Selling
Understand customer AI training data challenges and business requirements.
Work with technical teams to design customized data solutions.
Communicate the value proposition of robotics data infrastructure and AI training solutions.
Develop strategic partnerships within the AI ecosystem.
Customer Growth
Act as a key customer-facing partner after initial engagement.
Coordinate with internal engineering and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Collect market feedback and contribute to product strategy.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or above.
1-5 years of experience in business development, enterprise sales, partnerships, or technical client-facing roles.
Proven ability to generate new business and build customer relationships.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts.
Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership.
Preferred
Experience in AI, robotics, autonomous driving, data infrastructure, or enterprise software.
Experience selling technical solutions to engineering teams.
Startup or early-stage company experience.
