Description
Field Marketing Manager – North America
Location: USA – Fully Remote - EAST COAST PREFERRED
Industry: EdTech / SaaS
Employment: Full-time, Permanent - 110-120,000 USD
YourCode is partnering with an established international EdTech SaaS organisation to recruit a Field Marketing Manager who will take ownership of regional marketing activity across the USA and Canada.
This is a hands-on, commercially focused marketing role with a strong emphasis on events, conferences and integrated field marketing campaigns.
The company already has internal capability across areas such as paid social and digital marketing, so we're not looking for somebody whose background is purely performance marketing. Instead, we need a marketer who understands how to build campaigns around industry events, work closely with Sales, manage event logistics and budgets, and turn marketing activity into measurable engagement and pipeline.
You'll become a key marketing partner to the North American Sales team, owning a growing programme of events while developing the campaigns that sit around them – before, during and after each event.
The Role
As Field Marketing Manager, you'll take responsibility for planning and delivering regional marketing campaigns across North America.
Events will be a significant part of the position. The business currently participates in approximately six major events each year and wants to increase its presence across the market.
You'll own the marketing side of these events from initial planning through to post-event analysis. That includes logistics, budgets, messaging, campaign activity, lead capture and working with Sales to make sure opportunities are followed up properly.
Crucially, this isn't simply an Event Manager position.
The aim is to create integrated marketing campaigns where events become activation points within a wider campaign – supported by digital content, email, webinars, customer stories, thought leadership and targeted account activity.
Key Responsibilities
-
Own and deliver the North American field marketing strategy across the USA and Canada.
-
Plan and manage conferences, exhibitions, sponsorships, webinars and regional marketing events.
-
Manage event logistics, suppliers, registrations, booth requirements, collateral and internal stakeholders.
-
Own regional event and marketing budgets and monitor return on investment.
-
Develop integrated pre-event, during-event and post-event campaigns.
-
Build campaigns around themes relevant to the education market, including learning outcomes, evidence of learning, accreditation and digital learning.
-
Work closely with Sales and SDR teams to identify target accounts and maximise event-generated opportunities.
-
Ensure leads from events and campaigns are accurately captured, assigned and followed up.
-
Hold post-event reviews with Sales to understand lead quality, opportunities, outcomes and lessons learned.
-
Track event and campaign performance against lead, pipeline and revenue objectives.
-
Coordinate webinars, customer engagement activity and speaking opportunities.
-
Support Account-Based Marketing campaigns for strategic accounts.
-
Localise global campaigns for North American audiences.
-
Work with the wider marketing team on email, digital assets, landing pages and paid activity supporting regional campaigns.
-
Use Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads where appropriate to support audience acquisition and campaign reach.
-
Analyse market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to improve future campaigns.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced B2B Field Marketing Manager, Regional Marketing Manager, Event Marketing Manager or Integrated Marketing Manager who enjoys combining campaign strategy with hands-on delivery.
You'll ideally have:
-
5+ years of experience within B2B field marketing, regional marketing, event marketing, demand generation or integrated campaigns.
-
Strong experience planning and delivering conferences, exhibitions, trade shows or customer events.
-
Experience managing multiple events and campaigns simultaneously.
-
A track record of working closely with Sales teams to support pipeline generation.
-
Experience building integrated campaigns around events rather than treating events as standalone activities.
-
Strong event and marketing budget management experience.
-
Experience measuring campaign performance, lead generation, pipeline contribution and ROI.
-
Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.
-
Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of how marketing contributes to revenue.
Nice to Have
Experience within EdTech would be particularly valuable, although we're also interested in candidates from broader B2B SaaS or technology environments.
Experience with any of the following would also be useful:
-
Higher Education or education technology
-
HubSpot or similar CRM / marketing automation platforms
-
Account-Based Marketing (ABM)
-
Webinars and virtual events
-
Customer advocacy and case studies
-
Google Ads or LinkedIn Ads
-
Partner marketing
What Success Looks Like
You'll build a structured and commercially effective North American field marketing programme where events are connected to wider campaigns and measurable business outcomes.
Sales teams will know what campaigns are running, who they're targeting and what needs to happen before and after each event. Leads will be captured and followed up consistently, while Marketing will have clear visibility of event performance, pipeline contribution and ROI.
Over time, you'll help the business identify which events and campaigns deserve greater investment and where new opportunities exist to grow its presence across North America.
Interested?
If you're an experienced Field Marketing Manager with a background in B2B SaaS, EdTech, technology or education marketing and enjoy combining events, campaigns and Sales collaboration, we'd be keen to hear from you.
