Housekeeping Director

Our facility is looking for a caring and compassionate Housekeeping Directror who enjoys coming to work and is inspired to treat our residents like family. Our skilled nursing facilities are more than a nursing home, we are HOME! We like to have fun and create a rewarding atmosphere, filled with energetic and positive staff. We will make you feel appreciated and enjoy watching you pass that appreciation on to our residents.  

The overall purpose of the Housekeeping Supervisor position is to maintain the cleanliness and tidiness within well-established guidelines and assigned areas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs duties and responsibilities with assigned functional area within a nursing home facility which may include, but are not limited to, any combination of the following tasks:

• Provide assistance and support to the facility's housekeeping and laundry team.
• Ensure the facility maintains high standards of housekeeping excellence.
• Lends support to staff scheduling and purchasing of supplies.
• Participates directly in daily housekeeping and laundry functions as required.

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 

• High School diploma or equivalent is required. 
• Minimum one (1) year job experience in housekeeping, healthcare, hotel, hospitality, or other similar work situation.
• Committed to customer service.
• Friendly, responsible, dependable, team oriented.
