Accounting Internship Summer 2027

In this internship, you'll gain hands-on experience and work with a mentor to learn all about Accounting, and network with leadership at social events.

As an Accounting intern, you’ll partner with a dedicated mentor to see firsthand how accountants drive our company’s success. You’ll also build your professional network through team social events and connections with leaders across the organization.

What You’ll Do

Our Accounting internship offers opportunities to:

• Learn about multiple Finance teams at Sentry via direct project work with different areas.

• Prepare a variety of financial statement exhibits and reporting disclosures.

• Review and reconcile financial statements to general ledger data and appropriate data sources.

• Assist with automation of financial statements and reports.

• Verify completeness and accuracy of financial transaction processing in accordance with accounting principles and reporting requirements.  Troubleshoot data reconciliation issues.

• Assist with support, maintenance, and enhancement of accounting processes and systems.

What it Takes

To be considered for this position, the following criteria is necessary:

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in accounting or a related field

• Planned graduation date between May 2028 and December 2029

• Obtain a minimum GPA of 3.0

• Ability to work in a team atmosphere

• Working towards CPA eligibility highly preferred

• Sentry does not offer employment in this position to holders of F-1, J-1, and H-1 Visas for the purpose of obtaining practical experience
