Role Overview and Responsibilities

TT Electronics, Bedlington, is hiring for a Junior Quality Systems Engineer. This is a new, key role in the development of our quality systems.  

 

Reporting directly into the Head of Quality for Microelectronics, you'll challenge the status quo and lead system improvement projects across a wide range of products and processes. 

 

Key Responsibilities Include: 

 

• Proactively working with other departments to ensure business unit systems are maintained & continually improved. 
• Driving Non Conformance to robust closure to prevent recurrence.
• Providing support for internal auditors to ensure the required level of audit capability within the business.
• Hosting/Supporting Customer and accreditation audits conducted on site.
• Providing regulatory updates to the business.
• Supporting additional quality audits both Domestic and International, if and when required.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

What We're Looking For: 

 

• Exposure as a quality auditor in a previous role.
• Familiarity with the Quality Standards ISO9001 and AS9100.
• A competent user of MS office. 
• A strong communicator, both written and verbal. 

The following would enhance your application but is not essential to apply: 

• Previous quality or systems engineering experience.
• Experience of using quality tools (FMEA, Risk Assessment, Design Experiments etc)
• Knowledge of PPAP, APQC
• Knowledge of Q Pulse software
• Knowledge of SPC techniques
