As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and contribute to Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture through teamwork and integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges for employees and visitors.

• Alarm Panel Experience (B202)Candidates must demonstrate experience with alarm panel systems. This includes knowledge of alarm activation, deactivation, and troubleshooting procedures.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)Candidates should be proficient in using computers or tablets for daily tasks. This includes familiarity with software applications, email communication, and data entry.

• Customer Service Experience (B219)Candidates must possess strong customer service skills. This includes experience in handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing a positive customer experience.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other individuals by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, and the business perimeter, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access as directed, and providing courteous directions to visitors and staff.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
