A Day in the Life

As a sales and business support intern you will support the Neurosurgery Sales Team in day-to-day commercial and operational activities. The role provides an opportunity to gain practical experience in medical device sales, customer engagement, market analysis, tender processes, and sales operations.

You will work closely with the Neurosurgery sales team and cross-functional colleagues to support business development activities, customer needs, product-related initiatives, and execution of commercial plans, preparation and processing of documentation for marketing events.

Internship details:

• Start date: December 2026
• Location: Almaty or Astana, Kazakhstan
• Duration: 6 months (with possibility to extend)
• Working hours: 20 hours per week (with flexibility)
• Work model: hybrid

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Support the Neurosurgery sales team in daily commercial activities, customer follow-up, preparation of meetings, and sales materials.
• Assist with the preparation and processing of documentation for marketing events, conferences, workshops, and customer training activities in accordance with company policies.
• Conduct basic market research and collect information on market trends, competitors, products, customer needs, and business opportunities.
• Support tracking of sales opportunities, projects, tenders, customer requests, and sales activities; maintain accurate information in relevant systems and prepare regular reports.
• Assist with the organization and logistics of customer meetings, trainings, product demonstrations, and other Neurosurgery projects, including coordination with internal

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Currently pursuing, or recently completed, a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Healthcare Management, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Fluent in Russian,  Kazakh  and in English
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to learn and contribute in a professional business environment.
• Ability to work with documents and organize information and basic analytical and research skills.
