EAP Counselor - NGA

Venesco is looking for an experienced EAP Counselor to work at our Occupational Health Clinic supporting the National Geospatial Agency (NGA) in Springfield, VA. Qualified candidates must be licensed Mental Health Professionals and must hold or be able to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance. Previous EAP services within the military and government is preferable. This role is in office 5 days per week.

An active TS SCI is required.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide EAP counseling services in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Crisis intervention
• Community referral outreach
• Research, preparation, and delivery of health & wellness programs
• Newsletter research and preparation

Requirements

 Qualifications and Skills

• Licensure and relevant experience as LPC, LCSW or other Independent Licensed mental health professional
• Previous experience with crisis intervention, work life stress management, community outreach referrals
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, good computer, and customer service skills
• Proficiency with MS OFFICE SUITE; PowerPoint Slide presentations, Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Active TS SCI is required.
