Description
The Role
- Style womenswear e-commerce shoots across clothing, footwear, accessories, curated shoot days and occasional elevated galleries, ensuring commercially strong, considered and consistently on-brand product presentation.
- Collaborate closely with the Art Director, Photographer, Styling Lead and Senior Stylist to deliver agreed creative direction and high-quality imagery.
- Prepare and style rack-ups and sets, making confident on-set decisions around fit, proportion, colour, layering, accessories and overall presentation.
- Use weekly bestseller performance, customer profiles, seasonal direction and current trends to inform styling decisions and keep imagery fresh and relevant.
- Contribute to weekly styling inspiration packs, sharing new ideas, industry updates and trend awareness.
- Apply River Island’s visual identity consistently, working closely with the Styling Lead to review and sign off daily output.
- Build strong knowledge of River Island models, including fit, proportions and suitability, making considered decisions on product allocation and hold-backs.
- Work proactively with Buying and Studio teams to ensure samples are received efficiently and products are photographed and live within agreed timelines.
- Review weekly Intake Rails to anticipate upcoming product, allowing time to develop styling concepts, ideas and moodboards.
- Take ownership of styling quality and delivery, proactively identifying opportunities to improve imagery and the customer experience.
- Maintain strong organisation, time management and a professional, collaborative and solutions-focused approach across the wider Studio and Creative team.
What You’ll Bring
- A natural eye for womenswear styling, with a genuine passion for fashion and an understanding of what makes a look feel relevant, desirable and unmistakably River Island.
- A strong commercial instinct, with the ability to translate trends and creative ideas into styling that inspires the customer and brings product to life.
- A collaborative and open approach, working closely with the wider Studio, Creative, Buying and Commercial teams to achieve the best possible result.
- The ability to take ownership of your work, brings fresh ideas to the table and looks for opportunities to elevate the way we style and present product.
- Confident in making styling decisions, with a strong understanding of fit, proportion and the finer details that make a difference to the final image.
- Adaptable, organised and comfortable working at pace, with the ability to respond to changing priorities while maintaining a high standard of styling and delivery.
