Roofing Service Technician
Location: Livermore, CA Company: Allied Construction Services
Job Summary: Allied Construction Services is seeking a reliable Roofing Service Technician to perform roof inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance on commercial and industrial roofing systems. This role is field-based and customer-facing, requiring strong troubleshooting skills and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair leaks, punctures, and other roof system failures
- Perform routine roof maintenance and inspections on commercial/industrial properties
- Apply roof coatings, sealants, and patching materials as needed
- Communicate findings and recommended repairs to customers and office staff
- Complete accurate service reports, photos, and documentation for each job
- Operate service vehicle and maintain tools/equipment in good working order
- Follow safety protocols and OSHA standards at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of roofing, service technician, or related construction experience preferred
- Working knowledge of low-slope/commercial roofing systems (TPO, coatings, built-up roofing) a plus
- Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
Preferred:
- Experience with commercial or industrial roof maintenance and leak repair
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
