Location: Cherry County Clinic - Valentine NE
Compensation: Competitive wage based on experience
Benefit: Eligible
Shift: Full-Time (Monday -Friday)
Cherry County Hospital & Clinic is looking for a dependable and compassionate LPN to join our Specialty Clinic team.
Position Responsibilities
- Assist physicians/providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Obtain and document vital signs and patient histories
- Review and coordinate clinic schedules
- Contact patients with appointment reminders
- Place orders for tests and procedures as directed by the provider
- Coordinate follow-up appointments, testing, and procedures
- Provide discharge instructions and patient education
- Maintain accurate patient documentation in the EMR
- Communicate with patients, providers, and hospital departments
- Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked clinic
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Current, active LPN license in good standing
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Previous healthcare experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience with electronic medical records preferred
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing situations
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
