Salary Range: $116,000 to $140,000 annually

As our next Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and continuously improving all maintenance activities across Stratford, including maintenance personnel and outside contractors, to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of equipment, facilities, and production systems

What You’ll Be Doing
Manages the daily scheduling of maintenance activities for plant equipment, facilities, maintenance supervisors, and hourly skilled trades employees across the plant.
Develops and executes preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and operational efficiency.
Reviews monthly maintenance performance metrics and recommends and implements continuous improvement initiatives across both facilities.
Participates as a member of the Operations Leadership Team.
Implements, maintains, and continuously improves the maintenance work order management system.
Oversees the purchasing and inventory management of maintenance supplies, parts, and equipment.
Recommends, evaluates, and supports the implementation of new equipment and technology.
Reviews and maintains equipment history records and maintenance documentation.
Reviews, negotiates, and updates annual facility service contracts for both Ancaster facilities.
Provides technical support and maintenance expertise for engineering and capital projects.
Manages facility, infrastructure, and equipment improvement projects through contractor selection, quotations, and project oversight.
Leads maintenance team development, succession planning, training, and performance management.
Ensures consistency of maintenance practices, standards, and resource utilization across both facilities.
Participates in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, cost-reduction, and productivity initiatives.
Adheres to Johnson Electric's policies and procedures.
Adheres to and supports Johnson Electric's Safety and Environmental policies and practices.
Ensures compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and the requirements of the Quality Management System, IATF 16949, and ISO 14001.
Other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
Postsecondary education is required
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a supervisory/management capacity in the automotive industry or high-speed manufacturing
Skilled Tradesperson (Province of Ontario), Millwright, Machinist, Electrician certification or equivalent experience without certification
Strong leadership, team building and motivational skills with a comprehensive understanding of critical problem solving
Experience with heavy presses an asset
Excellent organizational and time and stress management skills to complete the required tasks
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office programs, especially Microsoft Word and Excel programs.
Able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, at all levels of the organization.
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
