[What the role is]
You will lead a team within the International Division to spearhead relations and drive projects with foreign maritime administrations and stakeholders develop and manage MPA’s multilateral and bilateral relations with foreign maritime administrations and relevant stakeholders.[What you will be working on]
Job Description
You have to lead your team to advance Singapore’s maritime interests both bilaterally as well as at multilateral fora. You will identify and analyse international maritime issues for their impact to Singapore, and recommend strategies and responses to these issues. These issues could include geopolitical developments, maritime decarbonisation, digitalisation/AI and marine environmental protection. In addition, you will forge and strengthen partnerships with foreign maritime administrations and relevant stakeholders. This will include organisation and hosting of meetings, incoming visits and other events. You will also travel to attend both bilateral and multilateral as a representative of MPA and Singapore.
[What we are looking for]
Requirements
You should possess six to 10 years of relevant working experience in the International Relations or equivalent function, with preferably at least two years of supervisory experience. You should have strong analytical, writing and communications skills, and a good command of English. You should also possess strong organisational and project management skills, and the ability to lead team(s) to handle multiple complex projects concurrently.
