The Division:
Gold-Vision, part of the Volaris Group within Constellation Software Inc. (CSI), provides CRM and business process automation solutions. The division delivers enterprise software, integrations, and long-term product support while emphasizing technical excellence and customer collaboration.
The Position:
We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our team to support the enhancement, maintenance, and optimization of a mature Microsoft-based application suite. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with complex legacy systems while delivering modern enhancements and performance improvements.
The successful candidate will work on integration services, backend components, and occasionally the web portal, collaborating closely with customers, product owners, and technical stakeholders. The role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to understand existing codebases quickly, and a pragmatic approach to solving technical challenges within established enterprise applications.
The engagement is expected to begin immediately, with an anticipated duration of 2 to 6 months, depending on customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, maintain, and enhance backend services using C# and the Microsoft technology stack.
Analyze and implement changes to existing integration services to support customer migration initiatives.
Modify and maintain ASP.NET-based web portal functionality as required.
Develop enhancements to support business rules, including restricting editing of migration-flagged records.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues within legacy applications and integration services.
Perform performance analysis, profiling, and tuning across application and SQL Server layers.
Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and optimize database performance where required.
Collaborate directly with customers, Product Owners, and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical guidance.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices.
Support application deployments using Octopus Deploy and other internal deployment tools.
Work with source control using Git/GitHub and contribute to a collaborative development environment.
Produce high-quality, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Contribute to technical discussions and recommend improvements to system architecture and application performance.

Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience developing enterprise applications using C#, .NET, and Microsoft SQL Server.
Hands-on experience maintaining and enhancing legacy ASP.NET applications.
Proven ability to work with large, mature codebases developed over many years by multiple contributors.
Strong SQL Server development skills, including query optimization and performance tuning.
Experience troubleshooting and optimizing application performance across both application and database layers.
Experience using Git/GitHub for version control.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with customers and technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a distributed team.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with enterprise integration platforms and data synchronization solutions.
Experience deploying applications using Octopus Deploy or similar deployment automation tools.
Experience working on customer-facing enterprise software products.
Familiarity with software modernization initiatives and migration projects.
Experience identifying and implementing performance improvements in mature enterprise applications.
Project Overview
The successful candidate will initially focus on a customer migration project, including:
Enhancing integration services to selectively ignore records based on migration flags.
Implementing UI changes to prevent editing of migrated records.
Analyzing and improving the performance of an existing solution that has been in production for several months.
Supporting customer delivery timelines through close collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.
