What you'll be doing:
Ensures projects are invoiced in a timely manner according to contract specifications and client requirements
Drives accounts receivable collection efforts to ensure client payments are received timely and according to contract terms.
Assists in reconciliation and roll-forward of project unbilled balances to ensure appropriate accounting through study completion.
Corresponds directly with the operational team and clients with regards to invoice approval expectations as well and client payment expectations and elevates accordingly.
Supports development of change order payment schedules as needed
Maintains appropriate filing of client invoices and required supporting documents.
What we are searching for:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in accounting or finance
Three to five years + direct experience in Accounts Receivable or other finance functions
Experience with Workday preferred but not mandatory
Strong Computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook and Excel
Knowledge of web-based communication tools for conferences
Highly detail oriented
Team player with ability to work collaboratively with other finance functions
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, able to prioritize work to meet deadlines.
Fluency in English.
