Description
We are seeking Lab Technical Specialist to join IQVIA Laboratories at Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Job Summary:
What You'll Be Doing:
- Develop and maintain the local laboratory Quality Control Program and database, including statistical analysis and quality control performance data reviews in accordance with policy and regulatory guidelines
- Validate assays through statistical analysis of local laboratory data, troubleshooting analytical methods and providing technical information to relevant parties
- Manage proficiency testing and accreditation program activities, including enrollment, submission, review and investigations
- Develop yearly schedules for regulatory functions and perform data analysis for linearity, comparison or other required studies
- Act as a technical subject matter expert and liaise with IT and systems teams to support appropriate functionality
- Draft new standard operating procedures and maintain existing SOPs related to departmental activities on a regional or global basis
- Support audits, inspections, process improvements, troubleshooting, safety requirements and 6S initiatives
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor’s Degree in life sciences or another relevant field is required
- 1 year of experience in a clinical, research, academic or commercial/production laboratory environment
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory agency standards
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment, clinical laboratory assays, quality control and validation procedures
- Strong technical knowledge of complex testing procedures and the science supporting the analysis
- Proficiency with complex laboratory calculations, including averages, means, standard deviations and various quality control metrics
- Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

- Good computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Effective organizational, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients
- Applicable certifications and licenses as required by local regulations
