Description
Associate’s degree in Marketing, Art and Design, Public Relations, Communication Arts, or similar field and two (2) years’ experience in marketing, communications, outreach, customer service, or administrative support required or a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Art and Design, Public Relations, Communication Arts, or similar field. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience in higher education promoting academic programs preferred. Experience with Adobe suite of products, social media, print media, and promotional products preferred. Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office applications; must complete and pass Microsoft testing modules which includes Word and Excel and demonstrate the ability to type 30 wpm.
- Identify and develop marketing strategies to promote JCI-CCBC partnership, high-tech/ high-paying career opportunities in HVAC Technology and Engineering Technology, scholarships, and student incentives.
- Assist with special events, workshops, and professional development activities. including communications, arranging speakers, taking photos, etc.
- Maintain student attendance records at events to ensure appropriate awarding of grant funded incentives.
- Post content to social media and communicate grant-related activities to current and potential students, JCI partners, and Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS) partners.
- Support Marketing Communications staff in development of grant-related marketing and promotional materials.
- Be a flexible, team player with have high energy and attention to details.
