ACAT Analyst - Automated Customer Account Transfer Service

Our client is seeking an experienced ACAT Analyst to support automated customer account transfer service operations. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely managing account transitions and compliance within a financial services organization.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Process and manage automated customer account transfers (ACAT) with accuracy and attention to detail
• Review account transfer requests for completeness and regulatory compliance
• Communicate with internal teams and clients to resolve transfer issues and expedite account closures
• Monitor transfer timelines and escalate delays or exceptions to supervisors
• Document transfer activities and maintain detailed records for audit and compliance purposes
• Provide support during peak transfer periods and assist with process improvements
• Assist with training and onboarding of new team members as needed

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in ACAT operations, brokerage operations, or account transfer services
• Strong knowledge of ACAT processes, industry regulations, and SEC/FINRA compliance requirements
• Proficiency with transfer platforms and financial systems (specific tools may vary by client)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to handle multiple priorities
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in high-volume transaction environments
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet established deadlines
