Our Forensic practice investigates problems in the built environment and provides evidence-based solutions founded on rigorous science and physics. Your Role
As a Senior Mechanical Associate in our Forensics Practice, you’ll step into a role where your expertise drives project direction, client strategy, and technical excellence. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to major clients, guide teams through complex challenges, and shape firm-wide thinking on innovation and growth. This is a high-impact position for engineers ready to lead at scale and elevate their influence across the industry.
What You’ll Do
Own the technical vision on large or complex forensic projects, setting direction, leading independent technical reviews, and defining best-in-class solutions.
Serve as the primary client partner, building trusted relationships, anticipating needs, and creating long-term strategic impact.
Lead and grow high-performing teams, managing and delegating both technical and management responsibilities across multiple staff.
Drive new business and market presence through high-level proposal development, thought leadership, and visible industry engagement.
Shape firm strategy, developing your own business roadmap and advising senior leadership on opportunities, markets, and emerging trends.
Strengthen our position in the industry by deepening expertise, building your personal brand, and helping the firm expand into new opportunities.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master’s or PhD preferred.
Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
10+ years of mechanical engineering experience, with a track record of leading complex projects.
Recognized subject matter expertise in your practice area, with strong technical judgment and advanced problem-solving ability.
Leadership that inspires and guides teams through mentoring, empowerment, and effective communication, while actively growing your client-facing presence.
