Orderly

• Supporting the safe transfer and mobilisation of patients.
• Assisting with patient transport throughout the Day Surgery Centre.
• Setting up and moving equipment in preparation for procedures.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised environment.
• Following infection prevention and control procedures.
• Assisting clinical staff with patient-related activities as required.
• Using safe manual handling techniques and mechanical aids.
• Contributing to a positive patient experience through exceptional customer service and teamwork.

• Previous experience working as an Orderly, Patient Support Assistant or within a hospital environment.
• Experience in a Theatre or Perioperative setting will be highly regarded.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• A commitment to patient safety and high-quality care.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Initiative, reliability and a positive attitude.
• Physical capability to safely undertake manual handling activities.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts across the operational hours of the Day Surgery Centre.
