The Edenred Digital Center (EDC) in Bucharest, Romania is Edenred Group's new Digital hub for strategic IT projects.

Context/ROLE

We are looking for a Network Project Manager to join the Global Network team.

The Network Project Manager will lead the delivery of global and regional network transformation initiatives, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, within budget, and to agreed quality standards. The role acts as a key coordination point between Business Units, Infrastructure teams, Security teams, application owners, suppliers, and external partners.

The successful candidate will drive network modernization projects, including SD-WAN, LAN/WAN transformations, Internet connectivity, cloud networking, data center connectivity, network security integration, site openings and closures, and network service migrations

the role is transversal and assumes communication with various managers and teams, most communication needs to be handled remotely

Position SCOPE & Key Responsibilities

As Network Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end network projects and ensuring alignment between business requirements and technical delivery.

Project Delivery

  • Lead global and regional network projects from initiation through closure.
  • Define project scope, objectives, milestones, resource requirements, risks, dependencies, and success criteria.
  • Ensure adherence to Edenred project governance and delivery methodologies.
  • Coordinate project activities across multiple countries, Business Units, and technology teams.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary interface between Business Units, Global Infrastructure teams, Security teams, and vendors.
  • Facilitate workshops, steering committees, project reviews, and decision forums.
  • Communicate project status, risks, issues, dependencies, and achievements to management and stakeholders.
  • Drive alignment, ownership, and timely decision-making across diverse teams and regions.

Risk and Change Management

  • Identify and proactively manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
  • Coordinate technical change implementation activities with operational teams.
  • Ensure business continuity and service resilience requirements are considered during project execution.
  • Manage escalation processes and recovery plans when required.

Vendor and Financial Management

  • Coordinate activities delivered by external suppliers and service providers.
  • Validate project deliverables against agreed scope, quality standards, and contractual commitments.
  • Track project financials and support budget planning and forecasting activities.
  • Contribute to RFPs, vendor evaluations, and contract discussions when applicable.

Governance and Reporting

  • Produce clear, executive-level project updates, dashboards, and decision materials.
  • Ensure project documentation is accurate, current, and available to relevant stakeholders.
  • Track project KPIs and report delivery performance, risks, and corrective actions.

Required skills & profile

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Telecommunications, Engineering, Business
  • Min 5 years’ proven experience in IT deployment projects
  • PMP, PRINCE2, Agile or equivalent project management certification would be a plus
  • Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams
  • Experience working in multinational and matrix organizations
  • Quick adapt in an evolving environment through multifunctional and international teams
  • Working in a multicultural environment / as part of a team

Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong knowledge of project delivery methodologies, governance, planning, budgeting, risk management, reporting, and ability to identify, assess and respond to risks and opportunities
  • Scheduling / Unified Planning, project management plans and product / project performance throughout the whole product life cycle, Product baselines
  • Ability to define and document measurable product / programme / project success criteria, analyse project performance, identify potential improvements, and reuse previous experience from similar products / projects
  • Ability to use methods and tools of Change Management
  • Contracts management, understanding the contractual wording, terms and conditions, and effects to the programme / project
  • Good understanding of enterprise networking, including SD-WAN, LAN/WAN, Internet and MPLS connectivity, cloud networking, data center connectivity, firewalls, Secure Web Gateway, ZTNA, and WAF technologies
  • Knowledge of hardware engineering and software development processes, Agile way of working, Jira / Confluence
  • Strong documentation skills and the ability to articulate technical issues, options, and actions to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment

Languages:

  • Mandatory: English
  • Nice to have: Ability to communicate in other European language(s) would be beneficial (French, Spanish, Italian)

  • Ability to easily communicate and interact with stakeholders, including CTO, Project Managers, Operations Managers, IT Managers
