As our HELF Lead, you'll play a critical role in shaping and delivering Higher Everyday Living Fee (HELF) services across BlueCare's residential aged care portfolio. Working closely with operational leaders, resident experience teams and corporate stakeholders, you'll ensure HELF services are resident-centred, compliant, sustainable and aligned with contemporary aged care expectations.
About the role:
As the HELF Lead, you will provide enterprise-wide leadership for the design, governance and operational enablement of HELF services across BlueCare's residential aged care homes. You will be responsible for developing service offerings, pricing frameworks, quality standards and operating models that support enhanced resident choice and experience while ensuring compliance and commercial sustainability
Working across multiple portfolios, you will partner with Resident Experience Managers, operational leaders and corporate functions including Finance, Procurement, Risk and Marketing to:
Design and continuously improve HELF service offerings and packages
Develop service standards, pricing structures and governance frameworks
Drive innovation through resident co-design, market research and service development
Support compliance with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and consumer protection requirements
Build capability across residential services through coaching, guidance and training
Monitor service performance, financial outcomes and resident satisfaction
Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance resident choice, dignity and quality of life.
Role requirements:
Tertiary qualification in Community Health, Human Services, Social Science (Ageing & Disability), Business or a related discipline
Strong understanding of residential aged care operations, including care, lifestyle and hospitality services
Comprehensive knowledge of the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards
Experience designing and managing service offerings, programs or customer experience initiatives
Strong financial literacy, including pricing, forecasting, revenue modelling and budget management
Experience implementing governance, compliance and quality assurance frameworks
Current Queensland Driver Licence
Ability to travel across residential aged care services as required
Ability to satisfy all relevant probity and screening requirements
