Overview
Banc of California is seeking a Senior Loan Servicing Processor to perform research requests, loan system file maintenance, payment processing, credit report requests, and special projects. This administrative support role works in conjunction with Branch Operations, Loan Boarding, and Loan Documentation teams. Key responsibilities include file maintenance and loan research, processing daily reports and corrections, loan insurance tracking, processing credit report requests, payment processing (advances, payoffs, payments and corrections), working with lending units to resolve issues, performing daily GL loan balancing, backing up the file room administrator, and processing participation remittances and payoffs. The position requires 5+ years of experience in banking or commercial/consumer lending, a high school diploma or equivalent, advanced research skills, understanding of payment processing methods, basic accounting knowledge, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Preferred candidates will have knowledge of IBS system.
