Overview
As a part-time Psychiatric Nurse with Heartland Family Service, you will serve clients across nine counties in Southwest Iowa as part of the Rural ACT team. Responsibilities include assessing and monitoring clients' psychiatric, medical, and social needs, overseeing medication management, and collaborating with internal and external providers. You'll perform psychiatric assessments, coordinate care, implement wellness plans, and maintain client clinical records. This is a remote/hybrid role requiring daily travel to meet clients in their communities. Candidates must have a nursing license (RN preferred), bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred), two years of experience in behavioral health or substance abuse, and a valid driver's license. Work schedule is 10-20 hours per week.
