Overview
As a Layout Integration Engineer at Assystem, you will develop and deliver integrated plant layouts for Fusion and Modular Nuclear programmes, including Small Modular Reactors (SMRs), Advanced Modular Reactors (AMRs), and Fusion projects. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to create safe, constructable, operable, and maintainable plant arrangements. Responsibilities include interpreting PFDs, P&IDs, equipment data sheets, and using 3D CAD/BIM environments. You will lead piping routing studies, coordinate design activities, and resolve design conflicts. This role requires a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline, experience in plant layout or piping design, and proficiency in CAD/BIM tools.
