Overview
As a Painter Blaster I on the Day Shift at Salford Group's Salford location, you'll be responsible for painting and blasting various parts for agricultural machinery, ensuring quality standards are met. Your duties include training new employees on painting/blasting procedures, loading/unloading frames, maintaining detailed records of mil readings and paint consumption, and following all health and safety procedures. You'll clean and maintain painting equipment, take direction from supervisors, and collaborate with team members to resolve quality issues. The position requires 1-2 years of industrial painting experience, knowledge of wet paint techniques, WHMIS training, forklift operation skills, and the ability to lift up to 50lbs with assistance.
