Description
Orton-Gillingham Teacher (Part-Time/Full-Time)
Clearway School is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Orton-Gillingham Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. This position requires a minimum commitment of three days per week and is ideal for an educator who is passionate about supporting students with language-based learning differences.
In addition to providing Orton-Gillingham instruction, additional hours may be available as a teaching assistant.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and small-group Orton-Gillingham instruction.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families.
- Maintain accurate records and progress documentation.
- Support classroom instruction and student learning as needed in a Teaching Assistant role.
Qualifications:
- Orton-Gillingham training required at a minimum at an Associate level
- Experience working with students with dyslexia, language-based learning disabilities, or other learning differences preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to be flexible and responsive to student and program needs
- Bachelors Degree required
Schedule:
- Minimum of 3 days per week approximately; 20+ hours per week.
- Part-time position.
- Additional hours may be available through classroom support and Teaching Assistant responsibilities as needed.
