Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements:

• 21 + Years of Age
• Valid Driver's License 
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam
• Must also have the ability to pass a federal background check for DOT

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter access points, with attention to changing conditions across the location.
• Monitor entry and exit activity at designated areas and help to deter unauthorized access by following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Support security-related operations at a government transportation location by communicating clearly with the public and/or site contacts regarding directions, rules, and incident-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• This is a primarily driving post.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
