Job Summary
Central Plains Steel, a division of Feralloy, is seeking a reliable CDL Class A Driver to safely deliver materials and support transportation operations.

Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.Job Function
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver materials to customers
- Load, unload, and secure cargo (including tarping when needed)
- Perform daily vehicle inspections (DVIR) and maintain compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Use electronic logging devices (ELD) to track hours and activity
- Review bills of lading and ensure accurate delivery documentation
- Maintain safe driving practices and report any issues or incidents
Required Skills
- Valid CDL Class A license
- 2–5 years of driving experience (2+ years preferred)
- Ability to meet FMCSA, DOT, and company safety requirements
- Clean driving record and ability to pass road test and drug screening
- Ability to lift, load/unload materials, and work in varying conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Preferred:
- Experience hauling steel or similar materials
- High School Diploma or GED
