In this role you will be working as a Machine Field Service Technician for a client in the automated equipment industry. This position is responsible for providing technical (electrical, programming, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic) support to North American customers.
This position is a direct hire role. This role must be worked on-site.
Job Requirements:
- Associates in technology or electronics or BSEE or Industrial Engineering Degree
- 1+ years of experience as a field service engineer with automated machinery
- Ability to work all levels of electrical voltage; single and three phase
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical problems
- PLC and servo motor control software experience
- Knowledge of PLC programming
- Ability to perform manual assembly of basic machine components and sub assemblies
- Must have valid passport
- 75% travel
