Description

Lead strategic tender management to maximize profitability and business growth by developing competitive pricing, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring smooth customer onboarding and project execution

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement competitive pricing strategies to maximize business opportunities and profitability
  • Negotiate special pricing for large-volume shipments, project cargo, and new trade lanes to strengthen market position
  • Lead and coordinate tender/RFQ responses with Sales, Operations, Finance, and other departments to enhance tender win rates
  • Analyze tender and customer requirements alongside market trends to deliver competitive, viable solutions
  • Act as central coordinator between Sales, Operations, and Support Functions to align commercial commitments with operational capabilities and profitability goals
  • Drive successful implementation of awarded customer projects, ensuring smooth transition from acquisition to operational execution
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute customer onboarding and implementation projects post-award confirmation
  • Define project scope, deliverables, and timelines to ensure effective project kick-off and transition
  • Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) aligned with customer requirements and operational capabilities
  • Monitor project milestones, report progress to stakeholders, identify risks, and implement mitigation actions

Job Requirements :

  • Diploma or higher qualification in Logistics and Supply Chain Management
  • Minimum 7 years of tender management experience in Freight Forwarding or Logistics industry
  • Proactive work approach with ability to work independentl
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Effective team collaboration skills
